Who Else Wants Matcha Tea Chocolate?

Let's get started.

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 2 Tablespoons and 2 teaspoons of High Quality Matcha Tea Powder. Just click here to grab yours.
  • 125 ml or 1/2 a cup of heavy whipping cream.
  • 25g or 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter.
  • 400g of white chocolate. She used 4 Lindt White Chocolate Swiss Classic Bars in this recipe video.
  • 20 x 20cm baking paper lined baking dish.

Matcha Green Tea Chocolate Recipe

Step 01. Cut the White Chocolate and Butter into Small Pieces

Simply cut the white chocolate and butter into small pieces.

Step 02. Add Heavy Cream to Pot for Heating

Pour 125 ml or 1/2 a cup of heavy whipping cream into a pot. Place on stove and heat up just before the cream gets to boiling point. Once the cream is at the right temperature, remove from stove and move on the step 03.

Step 03. Add White Chocolate and Butter to the Hot Cream

In step 3 you'll first need to add and mix in 400g of white chocolate into the cream.

Once mixed and melted, add 25g or 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and mix until melted.

Step 04. Add Matcha Green Tea Powder Mix

Next, with a powdered sugar spoon add 2 tablespoons of high quality Matcha Green Tea powder to the mix.

Mix the Matcha powder into the mixture until all powder has been dissolved. Now it's time to add the Matcha mixture to your 20x20cm baking paper lined baking dish.

Flatten Matcha mix into baking dish and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours.

Step 05. Time to Cut the Matcha Chocolate

Before cutting, warm your preferred knife under warm water and wipe dry. This will make cutting your Matcha chocolate a lot easier.

Now cut the Matcha Chocolate into blocks. You can decide how big you want them.

Step 06. Sprinkle Matcha Powder on Top and ENJOY!

With a powdered sugar spoon sprinkle some more Matcha Powder over the chocolate to enhance that gorgeous Matcha tea taste.
